Police are investigating a burglary in Potters Bar and are appealing for information and witnesses.

The burglary took place in Sunnybank Road between 4.40pm and 5.50pm on Wednesday, November 2.

One or more offenders entered through a side gate and broke the glass in a door to the rear of the property.

They then searched a bedroom before taking several hundred pounds in cash and five items of jewellery including gold bangles, a gold bracelet and a necklace.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between the times stated, or has any information that could assist the investigation should call Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number J3/16/1365.
