A NEW carpet shop has opened in Potters Bar on the site of the former Woolworths store.
In the Potters Bar Edition on April 1, we revealed that Carpetright had purchased the unit in Darkes Lane.
And on Saturday, the store opened its doors to the public for the first time.
Store manager Nathan Gowers said he was "very pleased" to be opening in Potters Bar, and expected to attract a lot of trade from locals.
