A CARAVAN overturned causing long tailbacks on a motorway today (Saturday).
As our photos show the white caravan ended up facing the wrong way on the northbound carriageway of the A1(M), shortly before noon.
Police and ambulance crews were in attendance at the scene north of the Welwyn junction six.
Surrounding roads throughout Welwyn were also affected, but all roads are now running normally.
No injuries were reported.
