Car stolen off Welwyn Garden City drive

Police are investigating after thieves broke into a Welwyn Garden City home and stole a car off the occupant’s drive.

Police are investigating a burglary in Goblins Green, Welwyn Garden City, which occurred at around 12.54am on Saturday, May 27.

The thieves broke into the property through the front door, and stole a handbag containing £500 in cash, and made off with the occupant’s black Ford Focus.

A police spokeswoman said: “Enquiries are on-going.

“If anyone witnessed this incident they are asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference B1/17/2181.”
