Police have seized a Mercedes in Welwyn after the owner failed to keep up with insurance payments.
The Beds, Cambs and Herts Road Policing Unit were out on patrol on the A1(M) yesterday when they stopped the Mercedes in the Welwyn area.
BCH Road Policing tweeted: “Uninsured due to not keeping up with payments.
“Insurance company state several attempts to contact owner warning of cancellation.
“Vehicle seized and driver reported for no insurance.
“A £300 fine and six points on way.”
