Car fire on M25 near Potters Bar

Fire services extinguished a car fire on the M25, near Junction 24 for Potters Bar.
Firefighters were called at 3.17pm today to the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25, between Junction 24 for Potters Bar and Junction 25 for Enfield.
The car was described as “well alight” by Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, who put it out using a hose reel and breathing apparatus.
Two lanes were closed while firefighters put out the blaze.
There is congestion going back to Junction 25, and one lane has been reopened.
