A crew from Welwyn Garden City extinguished a car on fire in Hatfield.
The fire broke out in Holwell Lane at 3.53am today.
A car was well alight in a private driveway.
Firefighters used a hose reel to put out the flames.
The fire, which was of doubtful origin, was out by 4.32am.
