A BUS stop was destroyed after a car smashed into it in the early hours of Sunday.
The crash, in Hollybush Lane, WGC, took place at around 4am.
Firefighters were called to the scene to make the area safe after fuel leaked onto the road from the overturned Peugeot 406.
Police arranged for the car to be recovered and the incident was finally dealt with by 6am.
