MICKEY is one of 24 mice living at RSPCA Southridge Animal Centre who is looking for a new home and family.

Having been treated badly by his previous owner, Mickey has been at the South Mimms animal care home for months now.

Along with the other mice at the centre, Mickey is desperate to be given a new start in life.

A spokesman for the Packhorse Lane centre told the Potters Bar Edition: “They do not ask for much apart from a large glass tank with a wheel, lots of toys, tunnels to run through and apparatus to climb on.

“They can be split up, as long as we they have a friend or two to play with, and will need to be kept clean and given fresh water and food every day.”

If you can offer any of Mickey or any of his friends a home call RSPCA Southridge Animal Centre on 0300 123 0704.

Alternatively you can visit them at the care home open every day, except Wednesdays, from 11am until 4.15pm.
