Are these the worst potholes in Potters Bar?
Frustrated motorists have been complaining about two deep potholes outside the train station in Potters Bar.
William Rowatt, of Potters Bar, said: “For months now there’s been two ever-growing potholes outside the station.
“When I go in there I have to swing around them to avoid major damage to my car.
“This is no joke, someone needs to answer to this.
“I’m sure it has already cost the public dearly in tyre and suspension damage.
“It’s so deep that it would cause bodywork damage too.”
A Network Rail spokeswoman said: “We are aware that there are potholes outside Potters Bar station and we are going to carry out work to repair them.
“A date for the work has not yet been set and we are currently working with bus operators in the area to agree on a suitable time.”
