Kathy Shawyer’s BusyLizzy Herts was crowned New Business of the Year 2018 by Hertford Entrepreneur Network judges last week.

Along with the award the 39-year-old scooped £750.

Her business is a franchise of BusyLizzy – which offers pregnancy, baby and post-natal fitness classes – and she set it up after having her second child and spotting a gap in the local market.

Kathy said: “I am hugely proud to have won such a prestigious award just five months after our launch date.

“This is a great endorsement of the high-quality classes and community events we currently offer to local families, and provides a springboard for us to continue with our expansion plans.”

The classes are currently held in Hertford. For more information visit www.busylizzyherts.co.uk, attend a free class or download the app.
