Plans have been submitted for a new live music venue in Welwyn Garden City.
The proposals are for a café and bar to provide live music at weekends, food and drink for both on and off sales, and seating inside and outside the venue at 66 Howardsgate.
The premises was previously occupied by La Mesa Familia, an independent, family owned and run Spanish tapas and cocktail bar and traditional Spanish cuisine restaurant, and before that was the town's Poppins restaurant.
The property is on the pedestrianised part of Howardsgate adjacent to The Howard Centre, and the planning reference is 6/2022/1102/CN.
