Business is booming for Hatfield comic book shop

A Hatfield comic book store was full of new customers and people in cosplay on national Free Comic Book Day.
Calamity Comics, in Hatfield Town Centre, joined in on national Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 6, and gave customers a gift bag full of free comics.
Every year on the first Saturday in May comic book stores that chose to join in hand out free comics to any customers who visit the store on that day.
Some excited customers came to the Hatfield store wearing cosplay by dressing up as a character from a film, book, or video game.
A spokesperson for the store said: “The day went very well. I didn’t know what to expect as we are newish to the town still but a lot of our regular customers came as well as new ones.

Calamity Comics sells an array of comic books, books, American candy, Funko Pops and other figurines, and much more.
