Police are appealing for information in regard to the three Welwyn riads

BURGLARS raided three homes in one Welwyn street in the same day, making off with laptops and jewellery.

Officers at Herts Police are asking for help in tracing the stolen jewellery taken on October 11 in Roman Way.

Det Const Mark Cottie, investigating, said: “A large amount of jewellery was stolen from one of the properties – in particular some signet rings which were engraved with the letters ‘AEM’ and ‘R’.

“I’d be really interested to hear from anyone who has seen these items or been offered them for sale since 11 October.”

Anyone with any information is urged to contact DC Cottie via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B2/12/2859.
