Burglars raid South Mimms home

Police are hunting crooks who broke into a house in South Mimms and ransacked it for valuable goods.

The burglars, who jemmied open a back window of a house in Earls Lane on Thursday after climbing over a gate, escaped with cash, jewellery including earrings, an MP3 player, and a computer tablet.

Police ask anyone with information to call the non-emergency number 101 and quote reference J1/17/2160.

The thieves struck between 9.30am and 1.30pm.
