Burglars broke into an elderly couple's home in Hatfield


Police officers are investigating after two burglars broke into an elderly couple’s home in Hatfield.

The crooks forced open a front window to the property in South Hatfield on Friday, February 10, at about 8pm.

A couple in their 80s were inside, but were not threatened or injured.

A police spokeswoman said: “The offenders, who are described as black men who were wearing scarves around their faces, left the property by the front door.”

Nothing was taken.
