Staff at a country house supported Macmillan Cancer Support with a coffee morning and an impressive day of golf.
The Brocket Hall coffee morning was run by Emma Farrell, who is part of the golf events team.
In total, over £325 was raised.
A Brocket Hall spokesman said: “We ran it for members and staff in the clubhouse.
“The cake was mostly provided by staff but we had a large number of members turning up to enjoy the cake and donate.”
Earlier in the year, Brocket Hall also held a ‘Longest Golf Day’ and raised £1,995.
The spokesman said: “Four members of staff from across the estate played four rounds of golf in one day.
“They started at 5am and finished at 10pm, playing 72 holes.”
Every year Brocket Hall holds a coffee morning for charity.
Last year money was raised in aid of the Forget Me Not Appeal for dementia sufferers at Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
