Josh McKenzie, who is better know as MckNasty, showcased his drumming skills to the nation after auditioning for the ITV programme.

He is due to perform in the live shows tonight (Tuesday).

Earlier today he tweeted “Rehearsal done. Lets get in tonight #mcknastyinthebuilding”

Last week pupils at Rowans School, in Rowan, got a performance of their own.

MckNasty, who has previously performed with chart-topping rapper Tinie Tempah, said: “I am here to have some fun with the kids and to make them feel inspired.”

The brother of urban star and record producer Labrinth said about his time on Britain’s Got Talent: “It was really fun, very energetic, very scary.

“It has given me a platform to do my thing which is to inspire the youth of today.”
