A 22-YEAR-OLD man who killed his former girlfriend and buried her in Hatfield woodland has been found guilty of murder.
Wall had denied murdering Amelia Arnold, but admitted manslaughter.
But jurors found jobless Wall guilty with a unanimous verdict today (Friday).
Miss Arnold, 19, was a former pupil at Sir Frederic Osbourn School in Welwyn Garden City.
Her body was found in November last year buried in a shallow grave in Travellers Lane, Hatfield.
Prosecutors say she was killed on the night of November 7 and November 8 at her home in Hadrian’s Walk, Stevenage.
After a police appeal Wall handed himself in at Hatfield Police Station, but was so heavily under the influence of cannabis that he could not be interviewed for 25 hours.
Wall is set to be sentenced on Monday, along with his uncle, Joseph Potter.
Ahead of the murder trial, Wall and Potter had admitted obstructing a coroner, while Potter has also admitted assisting an offender.
