Manager of Stevenage Borough FC, former England and Tottenham footballer Peter Taylor, took delivery of a Ford Mondeo 2.0Tdci recently.

It was provided, for the use of the club, by Herts Ford and Mitsubishi dealer The Gates Group.

Chief executive of Stevenage Borough FC Bob Makin said: "These are exciting times for the club and it is particularly pleasing to receive the support of the Gates Group a leading local company"

With promotion to the Football League the prize and The Borough is sitting third in the Blue Square Premier League.

"It promises to be an exciting and tense run in towards the end of the season," he said.
