Body in Welwyn Garden City: Police investigating circumstances of death

Police discovered a body in Welwyn Garden City after being called following “welfare” concerns.

An investigation is underway after the man, who has yet to be identified, died in Broadwater Road this morning (Friday).

A statement from police said: “Police were called to a property on Peartree Court, Broadwater Road Welwyn Garden City at 6am this morning following reports of concerns of welfare for a man.

“Sadly the man has died.

“Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and are unable to comment any further at this time.”
