A BODY has been found by police officers searching a back garden as part of an ongoing murder inquiry.
Specialist forensic experts made the discovery this afternoon (Wednesday) at Fern Dells in Hatfield.
They had been at the end-of-terrace home since Friday in the hunt for missing 43-year-old man Peter McConnell.
No formal identification has taken place.
* A 37-year-old man, Richard Clare, of Fern Dells, Hatfield, has been charged with Mr McConnell’s murder.
