A COMPANY specialising in bird care has flown the nest and relocated to new premises.

Ark Wildlife, which until recently was based in Codicote, has moved just six miles away, to Hitchin.

Director Sean McMenemy said: "Just like a hermit crab, we simply outgrew our space and needed to find somewhere larger."

The company is a mail order garden wildlife supplier providing bird food, accessories, wildlife habitats, nest boxes and insect homes.

Mr McMenemy added: "We British love our wildlife and we continue feeding the birds even during hard times, preferring to make other sacrifices.

"However, we do know our customers will demand even better value for money and greater service during these times and that's what Ark Wildlife can offer by keeping our roots in Hertfordshire."

Ark's new address is Dog Kennel Farm, Charlton Road, Hitchin, Herts, SG5 2AB.
