A MYSTERIOUS bin fire took hold in Potters Bar on Saturday morning.
Firefighters rushed to Aston Way just after 8am, to find a quantity of rubbish “well alight” in a bin underneath a block of flats.
The crew, from Potters Bar fire station in Mutton Lane, spent around 25 minutes dousing the flames.
A spokeswoman for the fire service described the cause of the blaze as “doubtful”.
However, the police said they were not treating the fire as arson.
