A BRACE from livewire striker Jason Beck saw Hatfield Town to an entertaining 4-2 victory against Ampthill Town yesterday (Saturday).
Trevor Lloyd's side twice came from behind to take the three points in this Spartan South Midlands League Division One clash.
The visitors went 1-0 up through Lee Hayward after just 10 minutes, only for Rhys Lawrence to equalise 11 minutes later.
James Ingram then made it 2-1 to Ampthill just past the half-hour mark, but again the Blueboys equalised through Jason Beck three minutes later.

The second half saw the hosts totally dominate their opponents, and the only surprise was that they only scored four.
Beck got the third, and his second of the game, on 53 minutes with a rasping drive.

Substitute Daryl Smith wrapped the game up in the 62nd minute when he capitalised on a defensive howler to slot home.
The win was the perfect tonic for Trevor Lloyd's battling troops as they head into the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy Final against Hoddesdon Town on Wednesday night at the County Ground, Letchworth.
