Archant

Police have released CCTV images of two people they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a shopping bag.

The bag, containing clothing, slippers and cosmetics, was mistakenly left behind at a till inside Boots at Welwyn Garden City’s Howard Centre by a woman aged in her 90s.

A man and a woman behind her in the queue, on Monday, October 6 at around 3.15pm, picked up the bag, were served by a cashier and then left the shop with the bag.

Police believe the people pictured may have information that could assist with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises the people pictured should contact PC Ben Satchfield via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B1/14/2948.
