A frustrated police officer has tweeted a warning about “nuts” parking.

An inconsiderately parked car in Cuffley has sparked the ire of a Welwyn Hatfield South Police officer, who tweeted a picture of the car completely blocking the pedestrian footpath.

Finding ever more creative ways to warn people about poor parking, the number plate was obscured by a picture of some peanuts.

The fine will cost “a packet”, according to the tweet.
