Stargazers can head to the Howard Centre for a display from Hertford Astronomy Group.

The display will be held at the Howard Centre on Saturday, September 10, for members of the public to find out more about the society, see some telescopes and maybe see some planets.

Society members will be on hand to talk about astronomy and the new programme, which starts on Wednesday, September 14.

Meetings are held at The Fairway Tavern at Panshanger Golf Course on the second Wednesday of each month, at 7.30.

Hertford Astronomy Society caters for anyone with an interest in the subject, and it is not necessary to own a telescope or to be an expert.
