An ambulance crew is treating two casualties after a crash on the A1(M) in Hatfield this morning.

An ambulance spokesman said: “We received a call at 8.27am to reports of a road traffic collision on the A1(M) near Hatfield. “An ambulance crew is on scene and is treating two patients, both for complaints of neck pains.

“Reports indicate one is a woman believed to be in her 40s.”

A police spokeswoman said: “Up to 6 cars have been involved in a road traffic collision in the tunnel at the Galleria.

“We were called at 8.15am.

“One lane was blocked by the collision.

“Ambulance and fire were called out. All cars now on the hard shoulder. We are still at the scene.”
