A workshop aimed at encouraging young artists was hosted by Hertfordshire Business Services at Mundells, WGC.

The Urban Art workshop, which was led by two London-based artists, helped the youngsters channel their artistic flair and energies in a positive and constructive way, as well as giving the budding painters guidance on how best to develop their talents.

County councillor Keith Emsall, executive member for education and culture, said: "The workshop was a unique opportunity for Hertfordshire Business Services to support a nationally recognised art initiative, following on from the increasing interest in the subject shown by schools around the country."
