A CAR which caught light in the early hours of this morning (Friday) in WGC was deliberately torched, firefighters suspect.
A crew from WGC was called to Salisbury Gardens at about 1am. They remained dealing with the car, a Vauxhall, for an hour.
Watch commander Mark Massey said: “We used two sets of breathing apparatus and one high pressure hose reel – we empied a whole tank of water on it.”
He described the blaze as suspicious.
