Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie on the move

ARSENAL captain Robin van Persie has put his Goffs Oak home up for sale, fuelling speculation in some quarters that he is heading for the exit door at The Emirates.
Dutch strike ace Van Persie, 28, has lived at the plush £1,395,000 pad, in The Maples, with wife Bouchra since 2006.
The five bedroom detached house, built in 2000, has 4,500 sq ft of accommodation a luxury kitchen and bathrooms and even includes a mini football pitch in the spacious gardens.
The sale, being overseen by Cuffley-based Hetheringtons, will cause concern among Gunners fans still mourning the loss of mercurial midfielder Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona; and winger Samir Nasri and left-back Gael Clichy to Manchester City. Press speculation has now linked Van Persie with Manchester United, Manchester City and emerging billionaire-backed Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
A Hetheringtons worker said: “He’s [Robin Van Persie] not there anymore - he’s already moved out.”
One Arsenal fan commented on a fans’ forum: “I can’t blame him if he wants to move club as well as house. “In spite of his injuries he is a genuine world-class player who must want to play with a squad that can compete until the 38th and not the 28-32nd game of the season.”
