A FORMER international goalkeeper and Arsenal legend dropped into Hatfield House on Monday to launch this year’s Willow Walk fundraiser.

For the fifth year people are being invited to walk or run 10k to raise money to give seriously ill young people, between the ages of 16 and 40, a special day.

The event, for the Willow Foundation, will start and finish in the grounds of the stately home on October 6.

There are 750 places available.

Bob Wilson, who founded the charity with his wife, Megs, after their daughter died of cancer at just 31, said: “This will be our fifth Willow 10K and each year gets better and better.

“Come along and join us on the day.”
