MORE than 400 cannabis plants were found during a police raid on a house.

The premises at Northdown Road, Hatfield was stormed by seven officers after as part of an intelligence-led operation.

Details of the raid which took place in January have only just been released to the WHT.

Two men, a 27-year-old from Letchworth and a 29-year-old from Clifton, Bedfordshire were arrested for conspiracy to supply cannabis and bailed until April.

A police spokeswoman said: "The arrests have been executed as part of an intelligence-led operation.

"Much of the information of which has come from the public and we would like to thank them for their vigilance."
