AN armed robbery has taken place at a jewellers in WGC town centre.
The raid at Godshaw Jewellers in Wigmores North was carried out by a man on a motorbike at about 3.45pm this afternoon (Monday).
The shop is currently cordoned off and police officers are on the scene interviewing witnesses.
It is understood the robber escaped.
No other details are known at this time.
