PROPOSED new houses that were initially refused planning permission could yet be built after applicants appealed the decision.
Hertsmere Borough Council rejected an application to build a pair of two-storey semi-detached houses with six car parking spaces on land next to 171 Mutton Lane, Potters Bar.
At a planning meeting last September, the council cited the poor location of the site for a housing development.
But applicant Mr A Barr has lodged an appeal. No date has been given for a decision.
