AN antique vase stolen during a burglary may have been sold at a car boot sale.

More than 30 items including ornaments, jewellery and the Japanese Kutani vase were stolen from a house in Coneydale, WGC.

The burglary took place between October 7 and 8, but police have only just released details this week.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have purchased the vase, worth around £200, to come forward.

Pc Emily Martin, who is investigating the burglary, said: "Handling stolen goods is a crime.

"I am keen to speak to anyone who recognises the vase and thinks they may have seen it for sale at a car boot sale or at an antique fair."

Anyone with information should call Pc Martin on 0845 33 00 222.
