A FAST FOOD chain is looking to open a second restaurant in WGC, creating up to 30 jobs in the process.

KFC has announced plans to open more than 200 new stores across the country, with the creation of up to 9,000 jobs.

There is already one eatery in Fretherne Road, WGC, but following enquiries from the WHT, the company confirmed it was exploring the possibility of opening a second restaurant in the town.

A KFC spokesman said: "As one of the most popular quick service restaurants in the UK, we are always looking for suitable locations to grow our business.

"We already have a very successful restaurant in Hatfield, and due to popular demand, we are looking for potential sites in WGC, which would create up to 30 full and part-time jobs in the local community.
