A HEAVENLY evening lies in store for grunge fans when Angels Standing By come to Club 85.
The Hitchin-based four piece are Mike Bedwell (vocals, guitar, bass), Pete Ibbotson (drums), Steve Johal (lead vocals, guitar) and Dan Simpson (lead & rhythm guitar, vocals).
The unsigned band have a number of grunge influences, including Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, but are also inspired by a range of other acts, such as Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos and The Zutons.
The result, according to the band themselves, is quite simply "some beautiful music".
Decide for yourself, when Angels Standing By play in Hitchin on Friday, March 27. They will be performing at the Whinbush Road venue alongside The Guildean Gang, A.T.8 and Folk n Ska Souls.
The music starts at 7.45pm and is expected to finish at 11.45pm.
Tickets cost �5 and are available on the door.
