A BODY found in Hatfield woodland has been formally identified as missing teen Amelia Arnold.

The young mother was discovered by police in a woodland off Travellers Lane in Hatfield on Sunday with a post mortem revealing she died of head injuries.

Jack Wall, of Hadrians Walk in Stevenage, has been charged with his 19-year-old girlfriend’s murder and is in custody after appearing in Hatfield Remand Court today.

Amelia, 19, had been missing since Wednesday last week from the home she shared with Mr Wall and her young daughter.

41-year-old Joseph Potter from Sycamore Avenue in Bletchley appeared before Hatfield Remand Court this morning charged with perverting the course of justice.

He has been remanded in custody.
