A major Welwyn Garden City road was closed by a car collision this afternoon, with paramedics and two fire crews called to the scene.
At about 2.30pm, a Ford Focus and a Lexus collided in Tewin Road, near a petrol station.
Police say at least one person was injured, and the road had to be closed until about 4.15pm to allow the cars to be recovered.
Fire crews attended from Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield.
A woman in her 40s suffered injuries to her wrist and hands, but did not need the help of the ambulance as she was taken to hospital by a relative.
