POLICE are investigating an alleged assault between a man and a woman in Hatfield town centre.
The altercation took place between 7.40am and 7.50am on Friday around the area of Queensway and French Horn Lane.
Appealing for witnesses, detective sergeant Mark Wallis said: “The circumstances of this incident are being fully examined.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have witnessed any sort of scene between a man and a woman during these times.
“Queensway and French Horn Lane are main roads and would have been busy at this time of the morning, so I hope there would have been people about who may have seen something.”
