An Aldi supermarket looks set to be approved for Welwyn Garden City after a recommendation from council officers.

The store would be located on the east side of Bessemer Road in Welwyn Garden City, to the north of the Bakehouse pub.

The application, made to Welwyn Hatfield Council, also includes associated parking, servicing and landscaping, with 106 customer car parking spaces, including spaces for disabled people and families.

The council’s Development Management Committee will consider the proposal on Thursday, September 15.
