An air ambulance arrived to treat a patient in Welwyn Garden City


One patient was taken to hospital in Welwyn Garden City.

Ambulance services were called at 10.26am today to treat a patient in the Black Fan Road area, Welwyn Garden City.

An air ambulance from Cambridge and East Anglian Air Ambulance services arrived at the scene alongside a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and an ambulance crew.

One patient was treated at the scene for cardiac arrest.

The ambulance crew managed to restart the patient’s heart and the patient was taken by land ambulance to Lister Hospital.

The patient remains in serious condition.
