A person has been airlifted to hospital in Welwyn Garden City.

Essex and Herts Air Ambulance transported a patient to hospital this afternoon (May 10), leaving from King George V playing fields near Beehive Lane in Welwyn Garden City.

Safer Neighbourhood Team officers from Welwyn Hatfield North Police assisted the ambulance service, and tweeted: “Thanks for everyone’s patience and assistance in keeping the area clear.”
