An air ambulance was sent to a teenager suffering cardiac arrest in Potters Bar

Police and ambulance services were called to an unresponsive teenage boy in Potters Bar.

The ambulance service was called at 5.02pm yesterday to an address in Park Avenue, Potters Bar.

An air ambulance from East Anglian Air Ambulance, two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance crew and an ambulance officer were sent to the scene.

The teenager was in cardiac arrest, and crews were able to resuscitate him at the scene.

He was taken by land ambulance to Barnet General Hospital, in a serious condition.

Police were called at 5.06pm and after leaving the scene have no further involvement.
