Herts Air Ambulance is celebrating five years of being in operation and saving lives across the county.

To mark this special milestone, the charity’s bosses are inviting supporters to join them at an exclusive celebration evening on Friday, October 25 – with special celebrity guest Ray Winstone.

A charity spokeswoman said: “We would love you to join the air ambulance team and popular British actor Ray Winstone at Haileybury College in Hertford for an evening of ‘Strictly’-style entertainment with an award winning dance showcase by Ben Milan-Vega and Kerry Dennehy from Britain’s Got Talent.”

The evening starts at 7pm with reception drinks followed by a two-course dinner and dancing until midnight.

“Since its launch in November 2008, the Herts Air Ambulance has flown over 1,750 missions and airlifted hundreds of patients, some of whom we hope will join us on the night,” said the spokeswoman.

“The charity receives no Government funding and is reliant on people like you and local businesses to continue to support us and raise the vital funds needed to keep flying.”

Some of the money from this year’s fireworks display at Hatfield House on November 2 will be donated to Herts Air Ambulance.

Tickets for the celebration evening at Haileybury College cost £45 per person.
