Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to a crash in Welwyn yesterday.

Police were called at 5.13pm to reports of a collision on the Welwyn Bypass Road in Welwyn.

Two vehicles were involved, a Toyota Avensis and a Vauxhall car.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “The individuals involved sustained minor injuries.

“Ambulance, fire and police attended.

“The road was cleared by 6.56pm.”

Eyewitnesses say the crash happened just outside the BP garage.
