A1(M) reopened after smash

THE A1(M) has reopened following a two car collision this morning (Friday).

Emergency crews were called to the scene just before 10.30am after the crash which involved a blue Toyota Aygo and a red Nissan Qashqai.

Three people were involved in the collision and two women were taken to Lister Hospital, in Stevenage, to be treated for minor injuries.

The road was closed Northbound between Junctions 6 and 7.
