A1(M) re-opens after pile-up

A MOTORWAY has been re-opened following a multiple five car pile-up earlier today (Tuesday).
The southbound carriageway of the A1(M) between junction four, for the Oldings roundabout, and junction six, Welwyn, was shut after the 8.35am crash.
All vehicles were removed from the scene of the collision by 1.30pm and the road is now back to normal.
One man in his 40s was badly injured in the crash.
